About the CardioPrevent Program

The CardioPrevent® program is a global risk reduction program that is based on seven years of research conducted through the University of Ottawa Heart Institute by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and behavioural scientists.

CardioPrevent® provides an evidence-based, tailored primary prevention cardiovascular health program intended for patients at a moderate to high risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD).  It provides physicians with a systematic process to screen and identify at risk individuals and link them to a personalized primary prevention program.
